D-1 is a new derby style tennis shoe. We have broken down the upper design into multiple different pattern pieces which allows us to be more economical in terms of leather cutting and usage and allows for some creative colourways to be explored.
Here in dark brown and mid brown calf leather with tan calf accents, this sits on our The Good Shoe sole in white rubber.
The dark brown leather used on this sneaker is a pull up – it is impregnated with oils during the tannage. This gives the leather an appealing varied tone however it can mean that the leather will scuff. You can easily rectify any marks by rubbing the leather with a soft cloth to bring the oil back to the surface.
