We had a chat with friend of the brand, Boras (@borasification) who recently went away and brought with him our Florin sandals. Where do you live?
I have the chance to live half-time in Paris and in the French countryside.
Where were you when you took these incredible photos?
I was in Britain (French one :)) in a small village named Plourin. I spent a week to work in an old mill, lost in nature!
How did you discover Grenson?
Maybe 10 years ago when I looked for a pair of brogues. My style is a mix of streetwear and heritage, I didn’t want to wear a classic leather sole, then I discovered the Archie V with their Vibram gum soles. A love story started!
My favourite place to go on a weekend is for sure Le Perche, a small French area near Paris where the nature is really beautiful and peaceful. Green is everywhere and I find my inspiration during my days spent there.
Do you prefer sandals with or without socks?
I would say with! Of course it depends on the weather but I really like the mood with a pair of sock. You can find your own combination and let your creativity speak!
What is it about Grenson sandals that you like?
The X-light gum soles combined with a premium leather on the upper. Something uncommon with sandals, often cheaper. They are also really comfortable and versatile!

How would you style these sandals in 3 ways?
Imagine these 3 different ways :
Outfit 1. A summer relaxed suit in linen or cotton seersucker in earth tones worn with a soft linen tee tucked in the pants. Some necklaces and the sandals of course. Without socks!
Outfit 2. A more fashionable one with a wide pleated pants in black colorway, worn high on waist. A long white shirt and an original pair of (sun)glasses. White or black socks!
Outfit 3. Something close to my daily outfit : a used pair of Japanese jeans, a white tee under a military shirt with a camp pattern and a bucket hat. A lot of jewels and the sandals worn with socks tone on tone to put in light the sandals.
