The Grenson Veldt is based on the original Veldtschoen boots that were first seen by British Soldiers on the feet of the Afrikaner Soldiers during the Boer War.
These shoes are made using a unique technique where the upper is stitched onto the welt, eliminating the gap between the upper and the sole, thus making the construction more water resistant.
Veldtschoen translates literally as Bush-Shoe.
This Grenson Veldt men's derby boot has been made using waxy Brown chromexcel leather from the famous Horween tannery in Chicago and completed with a hardwearing commando sole in the Grenson Factory, Northamptonshire England.
