We first came across Peterson Stoop from Amsterdam, a few years ago and instantly loved their story. They are Jelske Peterson and Jarah Stoop, and they re-make old sneakers using their own technique of welting. The result is gorgeous, unique shoes that would otherwise be in landfill.
So we thought we’d love to work with them and we agreed to send some sneaker 1 uppers which they remade into what you see below. They are living proof that ultimately it will be creativity that saves the planet.
