Collaborating with the wonderful Craig Green again we have an adaptation of our Triple welt brogue Dominic.
Craig was interested in being able to add and remove pieces to our shoe and to be able to make many shoes from one base, he wanted to use clips, studs and poppers to make parts interchangeable. As such the shoe underneath is Dominic, however we have adapted the tongue to wrap over and secure with poppers to the facings of the oxford. A back strip has been added that secures with a popper to make a loop and an additional toe piece has been added with a traditional medallion centre design. Now you can play by adding the additional strap that passes around the ankle and clips onto the sides of the shoe and/or the "harness" that fits over the lacing and connects to the clips at the toe.
The laces thread through the harness and/or tongue to secure everything in place with one other strap sitting across the top of the harness. The attachments feature punching and gimped edges to mirror the shoe beneath. We have used polished bookbinder leathers and tonal triple welts for each colourway. The sole is leather with Thames rubber forepart and heel grip and branded leather waist.
